S.C.O.T. and the American Legion are again teaming up for Trunk or Treat!
Trunk-Or_treat is an annual event co-hosted by TAL Mohawk Post 308 and the Scottish Club Of Tulsa. It has grown to become one of the Club's key community outreach projects. Trunk-Or-Treat is an indoor Halloween Carnival offering a variety of games and activities for families within the community. The S.C.O.T. wants to provide a fun time in a safe environment, bringing community members together. We would love to have you join us as a participant and as a volunteer.
Trunk-Or-Treat gives S.C.O.T. Members a chance to create a stronger bond with the community and allows all of us to better know each other. This year there will be a station decorating contest! If last year is any indication, the competition will be stiff.
The American Legion Mohawk Post 308 has partnered with the S.C.O.T. for this event. Please join us on Saturday, October 26, at the American Legion Mohawk Post 308 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 11328 E Admiral Place.

Cathy Peterson will be giving part two of her presentation on the history and influence of the Presbyterian movement in Scotland and how the politics surrounding the Presbyterians led to a great migration of Scots to America.
Ruth Giessen, harpist and instructor at the Oklahoma Celtic Harps, will be performing. The evening will include several sets of celtic tunes, interspersed with “MC’d” introductions and info about the harp and Scottish tunes. Harpers include a mixture of students, amateurs, and professionals playing in groups and solos. She is bringing demo harps for our members to practice their own harpist skills.
Members are asked to bring a dish corresponding with the first letter of their last name, and we love it when you bring a dish of Scottish origin.
